  • Jackie Allen, Former secretary to Dr. Augie Wenzel at LSPS ~ Was taken to Seton Tuesday afternoon with difficulty breathing and was diagnosed with a heart attack and congestive heart failure. She was given some excellent care in the ER and was admitted to the intermediate care floor. She just rested with medication yesterday and today, she will have a heart cath to determine damage and/or blockage as they as yet are not sure if it's both or what. It may be treated with stents or medication.

  • Stephen Tate, director of music at Salem Lutheran in Houston ~ Collapsed during worship on Sunday morning. Spent some time without breathing and his heart was not beating. After the heart cath he suffered from hemorrhaging in his brain.
