Community Thanksgiving Meal

Join us for Burton’s annual Free Thanksgiving Meal on Saturday, November 23, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 13100 W. Washington Street.

Come early at 4:00 p.m. to visit with neighbors and enjoy live music from Greenvine Lutheran’s Hilltop Ramblers. The meal, complete with all the traditional fixings and desserts, is a gift to the community from Burton Bridge Ministry and generous sponsors such as Community State Bank of Burton.

Burton Bridge Ministry, supported by about a dozen local churches including Greenvine Lutheran and St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg, serves the community year-round through its food pantry, senior meal program, Corner Shoppe (offering clothing and household goods), computer access for job applications, senior outreach, and accessibility ramp construction.
