Tri-Synodical Theological Conference 2017
As we commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, Refresh ‘17 aimed to help leaders appropriate the gifts of that historic event for church vitality and mission today. ELCA Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton, Lutheran World Federation General Secretary Martin Junge, and local colleague leaders challenged and inspired us with their stories and insights.
The main goals of Refresh ’17 were to lift up the ongoing processes of reformation in the church, while equipping leaders to further the Spirit-led work in church and society for life-giving change. Worship was led by the ELCA’s Glocal Musicians, who shared models of worship pertinent to Lutherans all over the world, yet applicable in our own settings.
